ELEHEAR VocClear AI technology is a synergistic system composed of six integral components that collaborate to enhance speech comprehension and minimize listening effort. These groundbreaking innovations include AI Feedback Control, Directionality, Directionality Enhancer, AI Noise Reduction, Speech Enhancer and Amplification. These six modules work together to make it easier for users to comprehend speech in noisy environments, thereby reducing the effort required for listening and enhancing overall communication.
ELEHEAR hearing aids are more affordable than many traditional hearing aids because they are sold over-the-counter (OTC). This means they bypass the need for a hearing care professional involvement in the fitting and tuning process, which can often add significant costs. Additionally, ELEHEAR leverages advanced AI technology to provide high-quality sound amplification, which can be more cost-effective than traditional methods. However, it is important to note that while OTC hearing aids can be a great solution for many, they may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with severe or complex hearing loss.
The selling price is for a pair of hearing aids with the charging case and necessary accessories including domes, wax guards and a charging cable.
Our hearing aids are sold in a pair. However, for special request to purchase individually (ie one hearing aid), kindly contact our Customer Support team at support@elehear.com and it shall be considered on a case-by-case basis on reasonable terms.

It is not compulsory to take a hearing test in order to set up the hearing aids. However, it is recommended that you take the online hearing test as our audiologist will give you a call to provide guidances on how to use the hearing aid and share important instructions with you. They will use that result to ensure that you have the necessary support and information for optimal usage of the device.
Currently, our beyond and alpha series is only available in Receiver-In-Canal (RIC) hearing aids.
Our hearing aids can last about 5 years on average. However, it can perform even longer with proper care and maintenance - that is to store, clean, and care for your hearing aids properly. Regular cleaning goes a very long way.
Yes, you can purchase the accessories separately on our website at https://elehear.com/collections/accessories
While not compulsory, a dry-box, or dehumidifier, can be a useful hearing aid accessory. If you live an active lifestyle, or in a humid environment, a dry-box can help to remove excessive moisture and extend the lifespan of the hearing aids.
Yes, you can use our hearing aids while wearing glasses.
We designed our hearing aids with comfort and adaptability in mind, aiming to minimize any interference between the hearing aids and glasses. The hearing aids should fit snugly and comfortably.
Hearing aids are designed to fit snugly in your ear and they should feel comfortable and secure, allowing you to wear them throughout the day without discomfort or irritation.
Watch out for these signs as they will tell you that your hearing aids does not fit properly.
- Pain or discomfort
- A sore spot
- Buzzing or whistling
- Problems with sound or volume
- Earwax buildup
- Devices do not stay in place
Hearing aids do NOT restore normal hearing, unlike eyeglasses or contact lenses which can restore 20/20 vision. Hearing aids improve your hearing by amplifying all sounds, including soft sounds and background noise.
You should use two hearing aids if you have hearing loss in both ears. It is also recommended for users to put on two aids as it reports a higher level of satisfaction than those who put on a single hearing aid.
The two are not the same - OTC hearing aids are like hearing amplifiers which they will not require a prescription. However, unlike amplifiers, OTC hearing aids are designed to correct hearing loss where it identifies the specific sounds you have trouble hearing, and the ELEHEAR Alpha series are OTC hearing aids designed to suit mild to moderate hearing loss.
The most important thing is to make sure your hands are clean and dry to avoid transferring any dirt or moisture to the hearing aid. We would highly recommend users to put on or remove the hearing aids while they are on a sofa or bed to prevent the hearing aids dropping on the ground, causing damages.
To wear the hearing aids, place the hearing aid body over the top of your ear. Then, pull down and back on your earlobe to ease insertion. Hold the receiver wire near the dome and gently push the dome into your ear canal. When inserted properly, the dome should not be visible in your canal. Use your pinky to ease insertion.
To take off the hearing aid, remove the dome first using the receiver wire. Then, gently remove the body from behind your ear. Try to minimize pulling on the wire as much as possible.
You may refer to the how-to video regarding the wearing of the hearing aids.
The purpose of the dome is to seal the ear canal to prevent feedback and trap in necessary amplification. The dome also keeps the hearing aid fit and snug.
For more information on ear domes, you may read up https://elehear.com/blogs/all/the-importance-of-hearing-aid-domes.
No, the hearing aids will not be damaged and you can leave them in the charger overnight. However we recommend removing the devices from the charger if you will not be using them for an extended period of time. If you leave the hearing aids in the charger for days, it can affect the battery life significantly.
Similar to all electronic devices, it is not recommended to leave the hearing aids charging in the charging case for a long period of time. Even if unplugged, the battery will drain faster if left in the charging case for an extended period of time. If you are not using the hearing aids for a few days, we recommend leaving it out of the charging case.
The rechargeable battery stays within the hearing aid for the life of the device and it is meant to last as long as the hearing aids, about 3 years.
Yes! Our hearing aids are FDA registered, designed to aid adults 18 years old and above with mild to moderate hearing loss.
You can use the volume control on the connected device such as mobile phone to adjust the volume.
Our hearing aids are not self-fitting hearing aids, so they do not support uploading an audiogram directly. However, if you are a Beyond user, you can access the ElePro feature via the Elehear app. This feature allows you to submit your hearing test results (taken within the app) and your preferences directly to an audiologist. They will then customize the settings and send them back to you. If you have your own hearing test result, you can send it to our customer support at support@elehear.com. Please include your order number. After we verify your purchase, we'll forward your request to our audiologist for programming recommendations.
We do not support fine tune your hearing aids before your purchase. For beyond users, you can fine tune your heaing aids after you receive your hearing aids, you can access the ElePro feature via the Elehear app.
We’re unable to directly fine-tune your hearing aids based on your audiogram, but we can provide personalized programming recommendations. Please send your order number along with your hearing test results to our customer support team at support@elehear.com. Once we verify your purchase, we’ll forward your information to our audiologist, and you’ll receive tailored recommendations to optimize your hearing experience.
However, for Beyond users, we strongly recommend using the ElePro feature in the ELEHEAR app. By completing the hearing test through ElePro and submitting your results, the audiologist can send the fine-tuned programming settings directly back to you within the app.
You can use our hearing aids on an airplane. For the Beyond and Alpha Pro models, which contain Bluetooth functionality, you must activate flight mode on your phone (disconnecting the hearing aids from your phone) unless the flight crew allows otherwise.
Small tips:
1.During the flight, and even in daily use, please avoid keeping the hearing aids near strong magnetic objects, as this may affect their sensitivity.
2.The noise on the airplane can be quite loud, so please make sure to lower the amplifying volume a bit and set the noise reduction level to the maximum before boarding.
What’s the difference between Beyond Pro and Beyond?
Beyond Pro is a next-gen model powered by our latest VOCCLEAR® 2.0 technology, delivering 30% clearer speech, a wider sound range (125Hz–8500Hz), and stronger AI noise reduction compared to Elehear Beyond. Beyond Pro is perfect for conversations in busy, noisy places.
It also includes a brand-new Music Mode that brings vocals and high-frequency details to life, along with Bluetooth streaming, real-time AI translation, and smarter ELEHEAR app.
In short:
ELEHEAR Beyond is great for clear, everyday hearing.
Beyond Pro is for those who want premium sound, music, and a next-level listening experience.
Currently, our Beyond series hearing aids can be connected to all Bluetooth devices. They support Bluetooth version 5.3 and are backward compatible, for the best experience, we recommend pairing with devices that support Bluetooth 5.3 or higher.
Make sure your phone supports Bluetooth connections.
Our Beyond series hearing aids support Bluetooth version 5.3 and are backward compatible, for the best experience, we recommend pairing with devices that support Bluetooth 5.3 or higher.
Do note that not all phones work well with Bluetooth devices.
Bluetooth hearing aids enables connection to other devices, such as smartphones, tablets, or computers and allows users to stream audio directly from devices such as phone calls and music. Bluetooth hearing aids can also be controlled through ELEHEAR App, allowing adjustments to settings like the volume and switching between the different programs or modes.
With Bluetooth technology, it has greatly improved the functionality and convenience of hearing aids, allowing a seamless integration with other devices and a more personalized listening experience.
If you use your hearing aids to stream audio through bluetooth, you can expect an increase in battery drainage.
Battery drainage is also affected by how often you connect your hearing aids to the ELEHEAR App for adjusting the hearing aids.
If your hearing aid batteres are running low, or if you are concerned about running out of power, you can turn off the bluetooth connection, adjust the hearing aids manually, and take phone calls in the traditional fashion by placing the phone receiver to your ear.
The ELEHEAR App facilitates a seamless connection between the phone and the hearing aids through Bluetooth technology, where users can pair their hearing aids with the App to enable an effortless control and customization. Once connected, the App allows users to adjust various settings, including volume and sound modes. This streamlined connection enhances user convenience, providing a user-friendly interface for managing their hearing aids effectively.
The ELEHEAR App is compatible with both iPhone (iOS 14 or above) and Android smartphones (Android 6 or above). For Android devices, we recommend using Android 11 or higher for the best experience.
Some features of App require internet access, such as software update, online support, and synchronization of hearing profile.
1.Connect the hearing aids and go to the App
2.Click the menu button in the top left corner to open the sidebar, then click "My Device."
3.Check the current version number of the hearing aids. If there is a red "New" label in the top right corner of the version number, it means a new firmware version is available for upgrade.
4.When a new firmware is available, click the version number to start the upgrade.
1.Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the app.
2.Navigate to “About ELEHEAR.”
3.Follow the prompts to check and update to the latest app version.
Moisture can cause many issues to your hearing aids so it is important to prevent your device against moisture damage.
1. Extra earwax production traps more moisture in the ear as it takes longer for the ear to dry. Paying more attention to earwax production and change the accessories regularly to keep it wax-free.
2. Use a dry box as it can remove moisture from the hearing aids.
3. Sweating can also be an issue so we do not recommend wearing the hearing aids when working out or during sweat breaking activities if it can be avoided.
Regular, routine cleaning and maintenance is the key to a pair of long-lasting hearing aids.
Daily / Weekly
- Ensure your hands and ears are clean when putting on the hearing aids.
- Wipe your hearing aids and hearing aid domes with a dry cloth to remove dirt and oil after each use.
- Gently brush any openings/crevices on the hearing aids with the Multi-function Tool Pen.
Monthly
- Replace the ear domes every 2-3 months.
The need for replacement is that an old dome loses its shape and does not seal the aid properly.
- Change the ear wax guard every month, or anytime you are unable to hear out of the hearing aid.
The earwax guard is the most important protector of your device from ear wax.
The hearing aids come with a charging case that also serves as a storage case. We recommend keeping the hearing aids in this case when not in use. However, if you won’t be using them for an extended period, it’s best to store them outside the charging case to prevent battery drain.
If you live in a humid climate or the hearing aids are often exposed to moisture, consider storing them in a dry box overnight to protect them.
Always keep the hearing aids away from children and pets, and avoid placing them in high locations where they could fall and get damaged.
You can choose to set up the audio routing to go directly to the ELEHEAR hearing aids by default, or you can choose to switch the audio routing during a live call.
By Default:
1. Connect your ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids to your iPhone under your phone's Bluetooth Settings.
2. Configure the settings to route the call directly to your devices by default. Open your iPhone Settings. Select Accessibility --> Touch --> Call Audio Routing --> Bluetooth Headset.
Switch During Calls:
-Tap on the "Audio" icon on the call screen.
-Select your desired method of routing the call: ELEHEAR (hearing aid name), Speaker, or iPhone.
Possible Causes & Solutions:
Dryness or Sensitivity: Wearing hearing aids for extended periods can sometimes cause the ear canal to become dry. Try applying a small amount of doctor-recommended ear moisturizer or a drop of mineral oil (avoid overuse). And we suggest using it when you don't wear hearing aids and so that the oil doesn't get up inside the hearing aid receiver.
Wax Buildup or Blockage: Earwax accumulation can sometimes cause irritation and itching. Regularly clean the hearing aids, wax guards, and ear tips to prevent buildup.
Improper Fit or Friction: If the ear tips do not fit well, they may cause discomfort and itching. Try adjusting the size of the ear domes to a more comfortable fit. And we suggest using the open ear domes( the domes with holes). Avoid inserting the hearing aid too deeply, as this can irritate the canal.
Ear Infections or Medical Concerns: If the itching persists or is accompanied by pain or discharge, it may be due to an ear infection or another medical issue. In this case, we recommend consulting a medical professional for further evaluation.

Do note that the online hearing test is for informational purposes only and not to replace a professional clinical hearing test.
An online hearing test gives you a preliminary assessment of your current hearing condition and it is not a replacement for a clinical evaluation conducted by a hearing professional such as an audiologist.
The online hearing test can provide valuable insights such as:

The neural network extracts some meta information from captured signals while the noise suppressor reduces the level of noise. Working together, they reduce the noise while protecting the speech signal. There are seven levels of noise suppression available in the ELEHEAR Beyond, ranging from 12-24dB.

Each ELEHEAR Beyond order comes with:
-4 sets of single-layer closed domes (S, M, L, XL)
-4 sets of open domes (S, M, L, XL)
-1 set of tulip domes (one-size)

The ELEHEAR Beyond series ship with the size L closed domes attached by default. A good rule of thumb when programming your hearing aids and selecting your ear dome style: the less volume you use, the more open/ventilated your ear canal can be. The more volume you push out of the hearing aids, the tighter the seal needs to be to prevent feedback.

Select "BEYOND". Follow the instructions to connect your hearing aids to the App.
During your initial set-up, you will be required to access the ELEHEAR App for synchronization of your individualized hearing profile.
The ELEHEAR App ensures that your hearing aids are optimally programmed to your specific hearing level, providing you with the best possible hearing experience.
After that initial set-up, you may then use your hearing aids with or without accessing the mobile app.
The ELEHEAR App is designed to enhance the overall user experience by providing additional controls and customization options, but it is not neccessary to operate the hearing aids.
You can always use the buttons on the hearing aids themselves to adjust the volume.
The mute mode you're experiencing is typically caused by one of the following:
1.The hearing aid may not have been taken out of the charging case.
2.The "Hearing Aid Function" setting is on OFF.
To resolve this, please ensure that the hearing aid is fully removed from the charging case and that the "Hearing Aid Function" is switched ON.
It is normal for things to sound 'strange' during the initial exposure to hearing aids. This may lead users to a perception of sound 'distortion'. Others describe it as tinny or echo-y initially. Generally, it takes around 4-6 weeks for the brain to fully adapt to new hearing aids.
1.In the ELEHEAR app, use the ‘MUSIC’ mode when listening to, or playing music. This way any adjustments you make to music won’t change your ‘General’ or ‘Default’ mode for conversation purposes.
Under Speech-Enhance, turn the Auto-Enhance feature ‘OFF’.
Ensure the Noise-Control is turned ‘OFF’.
Ensure the Speech-Focus is turned to ‘360’.
Reduce the overall volume.
Set the Tuner to ‘+14’.
2.Use Elepro feature in the app: You can submit your concern (distored sounds) and hearing test results through the app using the ElePro feature. Our audiologist will then customize your hearing aid settings specifically for you.
How to locate Elepro feature :
Open the App: Launch the Elehear App on your device.
Access the Menu: Tap the three lines (hamburger menu) located in the top left corner of the app.
Find ElePro: Scroll down in the menu until you find the "ElePro" option and tap on it.
If you experience sudden sound distortion, consider the following:
1. Remove and replace the earcap and wax-guard to check for debris or defect.
2. Ensure the adjustments in the mobile app (primarily the volume, and tuning, and the noise-reduction) aren't set too high.
3. Charge the hearing aid for a couple of hours and try again.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, please contact support@elehear.com and provide the specific steps you have already attempted. This will help us expedite the resolution process.

The two biggest reasons for feedback in hearing aids are: poor fit, and excessive volume.
1. Consider closed ear domes, if you are currently using an 'open' style. Also, ensure the physical diameter is large enough to help seal the ear canal and not allow sound to 'bleed' out.
2. Try reducing the overall volume, or make the sound tuning less 'bright' under the 'Tuning' section.
3.If you experience a sudden feedback, that could mean there is some wax build-up or drainage in the ear-canal. Clean and replace the wax caps and ear domes if necessary.
4. Use Elepro feature in the app: You can submit your concern (feedback) and hearing test results through the app using the ElePro feature.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, please contact support@elehear.com and provide the specific steps you have already attempted. This will help us expedite the resolution process.
1) Adjust Ear Dome Fit:
Try using smaller ear domes or selecting open-style ear domes. Open domes can reduce the echo effect by allowing natural sound to pass through.
2) Check the Insertion Depth:
Ensure the hearing aids are not inserted too deeply. Slightly adjusting their position may reduce the echo.
3) Adjust Amplification Levels:
Use the app or settings provided to reduce amplification for lower frequencies, which often contribute to the echo effect.

Our audiologist will then customize your hearing aid settings specifically for you.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, please contact support@elehear.com and provide the specific steps you have already attempted. This will help us expedite the resolution process.
Step 1: Newly Purchased Devices – Please Note
If you just received your hearing aids, please note that normally they will take 8 seconds to activate after being removed from the charging case. Please wait for them to be activate.

Please be advised that normally when in default mode, without Bluetooth connection, the battery life of the hearing aids is up to 20 hours. However, when Bluetooth is used, the battery life may vary depending on individual usage habits, which can affect the overall performance.
If you suspect a charging issue, please try the following:
Here are some intructions for you to ensure everything is done correctly during charging:
1. Ensure the transparent insulation sticker on each hearing aid has been removed, as it prevents charging. You’ll find these stickers on the body of both devices.
2.Ensure correct placement of the hearing aids in the charging case, making sure they are seated properly in their respective slots.
3.Close the charging case lid while charging to ensure a secure connection.
4.Remember to fully charge the charging case as well to ensure optimal performance.

While it is not possible to adjust the dB level per individual frequency, with the ELEHEAR Delight , there is a Tuning scale located in the mobile app. This sliding scale allows the user to focus the energy of the hearing aid either more on the bass tones (deeper) or the treble tones (brighter). There are individual Left and Right controls; however adjusting individual frequencies is not supported.
The max dB output is 115dB for the ELEHEAR Delight.
The frequency range is 125-7000Hz for the ELEHEAR Delight.
The ELEHEAR Delight series hearing aids measure 23.85 (W), 18.65(H), and 15.75 (D) mm.
The ELEHEAR Delight is IP67-rated, meaning it is resistant to moisture, sweat, and dust for everyday use. It is not waterproof. The hearing aids are not recommended for use in water (such as swimming or showering) or in situations with a high risk of direct water exposure. If your lifestyle subjects you to frequent water or sweat exposure, use of a daily Drier/Dry-Box is recommended.
The ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids are FDA-registered OTC (over-the-counter) hearing aids. This new category of hearing aids was created in 2022, allowing users to pursue hearing aids directly (more affordable and accessible) without the need of being dispensed by a medical professional in a clinical setting. Amplifiers, or PSAPs (personal sound amplification products) cannot be marketed as hearing aids as they are not intended for use with documented hearing loss. They do help provide a boost to one's hearing in specific situations (bird-watching, tv-viewing, auditoriums, etc.)
No. Unlike the Beyond series, which uses dual microphones to support directional hearing, the ELEHEAR Delight features a single-microphone design. As a result, directional hearing is not supported on the Delight.
While the ELEHEAR Delight does offer bluetooth connectivity, it does not REQUIRE it for functionality. The hearing aids are shipped with a preset amount of gain, appropriate for the average mild-to-moderate hearing impairment. The volume levels can be controlled manually through an on-board 'touch' control on each hearing aid, independently. Without the mobile app, however; there is no ability to change the Tuning, Noise-Control, or Modes of the DELIGHT hearing aids.
Each ELEHEAR Delight order comes with:
-3 sets of closed domes (S, M, L)
-3 sets of open domes (S, M, L) M size pre-installed on the hearing aids
-3 sets of ear wings (S, M, L) M size pre-installed on the hearing aids
Ear wings are designed to improve fit stability and secure the hearing aids in place.
Choose the dome size that fits your ear canal comfortably and stays securely in place.
As a general rule, lower volume users can choose open domes, while higher volume users should choose closed domes to ensure a better seal and reduce feedback.
1. Hold the hearing aid with the earwing pointing up towards the sky.
2. While inserting the dome of the hearing aid into the ear-canal, twist the hearing aid backwards, so the earwing points toward the back of the ear.
3. Rock the aid back and forth until the aids seat securely.
To replace the ear dome:
1. Gently remove (peel) the dome from the hearing aid.
2. Attach a new ear dome by pressing/twisting it securely onto the speaker outlet.
3. Make sure the dome is securely attached before inserting the hearing aid into the ear.
To replace the ear wing:
1. Remove the ear dome first.
2. Grab ahold of the earwing and peel it off the hearing aid.
3. Attach the newly selected ear wing gently, ensuring the battery contacts are not covered by the earwing.
4. Replace the ear dome securely.
The ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids are rechargeable. Each charge supports up to 13.5 hours* of battery performance. The portable charging case provides up to 2 additional charges. A full charge for the hearing aids typically takes about 1.5 hours in the charging case, while fully charging the case takes approximately 2.5 hours.
*The 13.5-hour battery life can only be achieved in hearing-aid-only mode. Once Bluetooth is activated and the device operates in headset mode, the expected battery life is within 10 hours.
The rechargeable battery stays within the hearing aid for the life of the device. It is meant to last as long as the hearing aids, which is about 3 years.
No, the ELEHEAR Delight lithium batteries are not removable and cannot be replaced by the user. If you encounter any battery issues, please contact ELEHEAR Customer Support at support@elehear.com or call (888) 669-1099.
No. The charging case includes a USB charging cable only.
The ELEHEAR Delight has a touch control panel on the outside face of the hearing aid. This panel can only be used to adjust the volume. It cannot be used to change the modes, turn the device on/off, start/stop music streaming, or answer/end phone calls.
You can also adjust the volume via touch control on the hearing aid:
Hold / Long press: Increase volume (you’ll hear a volume-up verbal prompt)
Double tap: Decrease volume (you’ll hear a volume-down verbal prompt)
You can also adjust the volume through the ELEHEAR app, either independently or synced R/L together.
The Delight hearing aids turn on automatically when you take them out of the charging case. They power off automatically when you place them back in the case.
Yes. The ELEHEAR Delight does support OTA firmware updates.
Yes. Adjustments can be made through the ELEHEAR App.
You can control the ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids either manually, with the on-board volume controls of the hearing aids themselves, or through the ELEHEAR mobile app on a smart-phone via BLE bluetooth connectivity.
In the ELEHEAR app, there is a Touch Volume Control feature. You can turn it off so that tapping the touch panel will no longer adjust the volume. You can find this option by going to ☰ icon in the top-left corner → My Device → Touch Volume Control.
The ear tips for the ELEHEAR Delight are made of liquid silicone.
Yes. Audio streaming is available on the ELEHEAR Delight for both Apple and Android smart phones.
The ELEHEAR Delight will only connect to one smart-device at a time, so if you have paired your units to multiple smart devices, please deactivate the bluetooth on any non-utilized, nearby units to avoid connectivity confusion.
There are two ways to stream your TV signal directly into your ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids via bluetooth:
Direct Pairing:
-If you have a smart-TV, you can connect your ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids under the tv's Bluetooth settings. ELEHEAR Delight supports Bluetooth up to v5.3.
-Bear in mind, TVs typically have lower-quality Bluetooth capabilities compared to smart-phones. This may lead to compatibility problems and potential frustrations due to connectivity issues.
Remote Sound Capture:
-Activate the 'Remote Sound Capture' feature within the ELEHEAR mobile app. This will turn your smart-phone into a transmitter.
-Set your phone next to the tv's sound source/speaker, and it will transmit the sound directly to your hearing aids.
Pairing Instructions:
Note: Before pairing, ensure your hearing aids are fully charged and not connected to any other devices, as they can only connect to one device at a time.
-Place the hearing aids in the charging case (Keep the lid open).
-Open your phone's Bluetooth Settings, and turn the Bluetooth 'ON'.
-Select “ELEHEAR Delight” from the list of available devices.
-If prompted to 'pair' (Android), do so.
-Your Bluetooth pairing is now complete and you will now be able to use bluetooth through your hearing aids.
-Going forward, when you remove the hearing aids from the charging case, they will automatically connect to the bluetooth for phone/media streaming.
You can answer or end calls directly using your paired mobile device. This cannot be done using the hearing aids themselves.
You can pause audio directly using your paired mobile device. This cannot be done using the hearing aids themselves.
Yes, the ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids can be connected to an iPad or other tablets via Bluetooth.
No, the ELEHEAR Delight hearing aids cannot be connected to a TV streamer.
No, you do not need a separate app. Both Delight and Beyond/Beyond Pro hearing aids use the same ELEHEAR app. To connect to your product, simply select the corresponding model within the app itself.
Unlike the Beyond series, the Delight can connect directly to the app via BLE (low-energy Bluetooth), without needing to first pair the hearing aids through classic Bluetooth in your Phone's Settings. This is ideal for users who wish to use bluetooth for making app adjustments, but do NOT wish to use bluetooth for audio/media streaming.
App Connection Steps:
1. Download the ELEHEAR app.
2. Open the app & select the Delight model to connect.
3. You will need to Log-in or register the first time you connect in the app. After that, you will be ready to use the app!
Technically, yes, you can put the hearing aids on directly out-of-the-box and have them work at the preset gain/volume levels (set for mild-to-moderate hearing loss). This way, you can manually adjust the overall volume, as-needed, via the on-board touch controls.
However, it is highly recommended that you connect to the app, at least once, to take the hearing test & obtain your customized 'Audiologist Plan' programming. This step ensures that the hearing aids are optimally programmed to your specific hearing levels & are providing you with the best possible hearing experience.
After that initial set-up, you may then use your hearing aids with or without accessing the mobile app.
The ELEHEAR App is designed to enhance the overall user experience by providing additional controls and customization options, but the app is not neccessary to operate the hearing aids.
Even if you leave your phone behind, your hearing aid programming remains and you have the manual, on-board volume controls, if needed.
Hearing Aid Mode enables the app’s functions but does not allow Bluetooth streaming, such as phone calls or media playback, and is optimized for lower power consumption. In this mode, the hearing aids connect only through BLE Bluetooth (low-energy) to the app.
Headset Mode allows full functionality of the app along with Bluetooth streaming capabilities, but consumes more battery. In this mode, the hearing aids connect to your phone via classic Bluetooth and to the app via BLE (low-energy) Bluetooth.
Upon first connection, a mode-selection prompt will appear; thereafter, users can manage modes through the “My Devices” section or quickly switch via the icon in the top-right corner of the Settings page.
If you have tinnitus (ear ringing/buzzing/humming, etc.), we invite you to experience the SERENE feature in the ELEHEAR mobile app. This tool uses sound therapy to help users 'mask' their tinnitus. 26 different soundscapes are available to try. Users can also customize a unique sound by combining up-to-5 soundscapes simultaneously, and manually setting the volume and balance (Left/Right) of each sound.
In 'Headset Mode', you can download a selected sound directly to the hearing aid, enabling you to listen to the sound without a Bluetooth connection.
1. Connect your hearing aids to the app.
2. Select Hearing Aid Mode.
3. Go to Serene and choose a sound to download. There are four downloadable sounds available in the Soundscape, and sounds saved in Favorites can also be downloaded. Please note that the hearing aid can store only one sound at a time.
4. Wait for the download to complete.
Excessive background noise is the #1 complaint of hearing aid users. It can be difficult to reduce unwanted noise while maintaining the sounds we do want to hear.
If you are in an environment where the background noise is bothersome to you, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. If you haven't customized your programming with an 'Audiologist Plan', we recommend putting the aids in the 'Restaurant Mode'.
2. In this mode, the Noise Control level is set to a MAXIMUM level, and you can manually set your Volume-Control & Tone there. (Note: increasing noise reduction may cause some speech distortion.)
3. If you have a customized 'Audiologist Plan', we recommend keeping the aids in that mode, and then accessing the Noise-Control and manually setting it up to Advanced or Maximum.
How to obtain a customized 'Audiologist Plan':
1. Take the Hearing Test in the App.
2. Use the ELEPRO Audiologist feature in the app to send a 'Message for Audiologist' & to 'SUBMIT' your hearing test results for review and remote programming.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, please contact support@elehear.com or call (888) 669-1099 and provide the specific steps you have already attempted. This will help us expedite the resolution process.
Confirm Hearing Aid Power:
1. (First-Time Pairing/Connecting): Ensure the transparent insulation stickers on each hearing aid have been removed. These stickers are located on the body of both devices.
2.Charge the Hearing Aids: Place the hearing aids in the charging case, close the lid, and charge for 3 hours.
Restart the Hearing Aids:
1.Place the hearing aids back into the charging case and close the lid.
2.Wait a few seconds, then take them out and try reconnecting.
Factory Reset:
1.Place the hearing aids back into the charging case and keep the lid open.
2.Press and hold the button on the side of the charging case for 12 seconds. (Important: Do not release the button until the charging case lights flash alternately and then turn off.)

You may hear 'Connected' or 'Disconnected' vocal prompts from time to time. This is referring to your hearing aids' bluetooth connection to your smart-device (ie: phone/tablet, etc). You have NOT lost hearing aid function and your hearing aid programming remains unchanged. This bluetooth disconnection most often occurs because you have walked out of range of your connected smart-device, OR, you haven't USED bluetooth for an extended period of time. This bluetooth disconnection is done to help salvage the hearing aid battery life. There is no need to rush to 'reconnect' unless you urgently need to use bluetooth.
1.Ensure the Hearing Aids Are Fully Charged:
Low battery can sometimes cause Bluetooth instability. Please make sure both hearing aids are fully charged before use.
2.Check for Interference
Nearby strong Bluetooth devices (like smartwatches, tablets, laptops) may sometimes interfere with the connection. Try turning off other Bluetooth devices temporarily.
-Other obstructions (ie: walls) can interfere with a good bluetooth signal as well)
3.Update the ELEHEAR App and firmware.
Check if there is an update available for the ELEHEAR App and firmware, update if needed.
4.Keep the Phone Close
Bluetooth range can be limited. Try to keep your phone within 30 ft and avoid obstacles like walls or heavy electronics between your phone and the hearing aids.
5.Disconnect other Bluetooth devices
If multiple Bluetooth devices are listed as ‘Connected’ under your Phone Settings, you may need to disconnect them first in order for the Delight to fill the proper Bluetooth-channel.
6.Factory Reset:
1.Place the hearing aids back into the charging case and keep the lid open.
2.Press and hold the button on the side of the charging case for 12 seconds. (Important: Do not release the button until the charging case lights flash alternately and then turn off.)
3.Search for ELEHEAR Delight in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and attempt to reconnect.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, please contact support@elehear.com or call (888) 669-1099 and provide the specific steps you have already attempted. This will help us expedite the resolution process.

Clean and replace the ear domes if necessary.
4. Use Elepro feature in the app: You can submit your concern (feedback) and hearing test results through the app using the ElePro feature.
If issues persist after troubleshooting, please contact support@elehear.com or call (888) 669-1099 and provide the specific steps you have already attempted. This will help us expedite the resolution process.

Newly Purchased Devices – Please Note
If you just received your hearing aids, please note that normally they will take 20 seconds to activate after being removed from the charging case. Please wait for them to be activate.
Make Sure the Hearing Aid is Fully Charged
Ensure the device is properly seated in the charging case and the case itself is fully charged.
Perform cleaning and replacing ear domes and ear wings(In many cases, this resolves similar issues )
-Remove the silicone ear-caps.
-Remove the ear wings.
-Vigorously brush the hearing aid nozzle filter with a clean toothbrush.
-Vigorously brush off the microphone opening (pin-hole on the 'face' of the hearing aids) with a clean toothbrush.
-Wipe the charging contacts on both the hearing aids and the charging case with a dry cloth or Q-tip
-BEFORE replacing the ear-caps & ear wings, put the hearing aids in your ears, and ensure the issue has resolved, then you can replace with new ear-caps and ear wings.
If the issue has not been resolved, you may continue with a factory re-set
Note: A factory reset will erase your saved app programming. You’ll need to re-pair the system and reconfigure your hearing aid settings to your preferences.
Complete factory reset.
a. Place both of your hearing aids into the charging case, but leave the lid OPEN.
b. Press/HOLD the button on the side of the charging case for 12 seconds (Important: Do not release the button until the charging case lights flash alternately and then turn off. )
c. Close the charger lid.
d. Open the ELEHEAR app, and connect to your hearing aids as usual.

Here are some instructions for you to ensure everything is done correctly during charging:
1. (FIRST TIME): Ensure the transparent insulation sticker on each hearing aid has been removed, as it prevents charging. You’ll find these stickers on the body of both devices.
2.Ensure correct placement of the hearing aids in the charging case, making sure they are seated properly in their respective slots. They should be snapped securely into place by the magnetic contacts.
3.Close the charging case lid while charging to ensure a secure connection.
4.Remember to fully charge the charging case as well to ensure optimal performance.
5.Please make sure the charging cable is fully plugged into both the charging case and the power outlet, and that the outlet switch is turned on.
If you have already followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please try the following additional troubleshooting steps.
