Do the ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids allow for bluetooth-streamed phone calls?

Yes. The ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids do allow for bluetooth streaming of phone-calls to both Apple and Andoid products. Do ensure your phone has Bluetooth version 5.3 or below (Bluetooth 5.3 is backward-compatible). Successful connectivity depends on specific circumstances and device compatibility.

Do the ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids come in various colors?

Is ELEHEAR Beyond series available with different wire sizes?

Our ELEHEAR Beyond series are OTC RIC hearing aids. We provide a standard receiver wire which fits most of the users. However, for special request on the sizes, kindly contact our Customer Support team at support@elehear.com and it shall be considered on a case-by-case basis on reasonable terms.

Can the ELEHEAR Beyond be used on severe hearing losses?

No. The ELEHEAR Beyond series are OTC-hearing aids, designed for mild to moderate hearing loss levels.

What is the max dB output for the ELEHEAR Beyond series?

Can the ELEHEAR Beyond be connected to all Bluetooth devices apart from smartphones?

The ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids can be connected to any bluetooth device, as long as the device has bluetooth version 5.3 or below (Bluetooth 5.3 is backward-compatible). Successful connectivity does depend on specific circumstances and device compatibility.

What are the requirements for Bluetooth connection?

Make sure your phone supports Bluetooth connection. The required Bluetooth is version 5.3 or below (Bluetooth 5.3 is backward-compatible). Not all mobile phones work with Bluetooth devices.

Can I listen to phone calls and music through my ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids?

Yes, definitely! Once you have paired your ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids to your phone, you will be able to listen to music, videos, podcasts, as well as making and receiving phone calls.

How do I connect the ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids to my phone?

Pairing Instructions:

  • -Place the hearing aids in the charging case (Keep the lid open).
  • -Open your phone's Bluetooth Settings, and turn the Bluetooth 'ON'.
  • -Select “ELEHEAR Beyond” from the list of available devices.
  • -If prompted to 'pair' (Android), do so.
  • -Your Bluetooth pairing is now complete and you will now be able to use bluetooth through your hearing aids.
  • -Going forward, when you remove the hearing aids from the charging case, they will automatically connect to the bluetooth.
What is a Bluetooth hearing aid and how does it work?

Bluetooth pairing allows users to stream audio (phone calls, music, etc.) directly into their hearing aids.

Compatible devices include smart-phones, tablets, computers and TVs.

Bluetooth hearing aids can also be controlled/adjusted with the use of a mobile-app on a smart device.

Bluetooth technology has greatly improved the functionality and convenience of hearing aids, allowing for a seamless integration with other smart devices and a more personalized listening experience overall.

What does the ELEHEAR App do?

The ELEHEAR App utilitizes bluetooth connectivity to enable effortless control and customization of the ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids. The App allows users to adjust various settings in their hearing aids, including volume, mode, noise-control and directionality. This streamlined connection enhances user convenience and provides a user-friendly interface for managing the hearing aids effectively.

How do you connect the ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids to the ELEHEAR App?

Download the ELEHEAR App onto your smart device. Open the app. You will first see a 'Welcome' page. Select ""BEYOND"". Follow the instructions to connect your hearing aids to the App.

Is the ELEHEAR App compatible with my mobile device?

The ELEHEAR App is compatible with both iPhone (iOS 13 or above) and Android smartphones (Android 6 or above). For Android devices, we recommend using Android 11 or higher for the best experience.

Some features of App require internet access, such as software update, online support, and synchronization of hearing profile.

Maintenance

Phone calls are not routing to my hearing aids on iPhone, what should I do?

You can set up to route call audio to Bluetooth devices either by default or switch to a specific Bluetooth device during calls.

By Default:

To receive calls via Bluetooth devices, you must ensure two things. First, you must connect your Bluetooth device to your iPhone. Secondly, you must configure the settings to route the call audio to your device by default. Open the "Settings" app and select "Accessibility". Then, select "Touch". Select "Call Audio Routing" and tap on "Bluetooth Headset". That is it! The next time you pick up a call while connected to your Bluetooth device, you will hear the other person’s voice on your Bluetooth device by default.

Switch During Calls:

Tap on the "Audio" icon on your call screen, then select the appropriate option (i.e., ELEHEAR Alpha or Alpha Pro).

How do I prevent moisture from damaging my hearing aids?

Moisture can have a negative impact on the function of any electronic device, so it is very important that you learn how to prevent moisture build-up in your hearing aids.

  1. A build-up of earwax can trap moisture in the ear, making it difficult for the ear to stay dry. Pay attention to your wax production and see a doctor for medical management, if excessive.
  2. Routinely replace the wax-guards in the hearing aids.
  3. Use a hearing aid dry box (or dehumidifier) to help remove moisture that may have built up inside of the hearing aids.
  4. Sweating can also cause moisture to become trapped in the ear canal or the hearing aids themselves. We do not recommend wearing the hearing aids when sweating, if it can be avoided.
How should I clean my hearing aids to keep them in tip-top condition? And how often?

Regular, routine cleaning and maintenance is the key to a pair of long-lasting hearing aids.

Daily/Weekly

-Ensure your hands and ears are clean when putting on the hearing aids.-Wipe your hearing aids and domes with a dry cloth to remove dirt and oil after each use.-Gently brush any openings/crevices on the hearing aids with the enclosed multi-function tool.

Monthly

-Replace the ear domes every 2-3 months. An old dome loses its shape and will no longer seal the hearing aid inside the ear properly.-Change the wax-guard every month, or anytime you are unable to hear from the hearing aid. The wax-guard is the most important protector for your hearing aids from ear wax.

How do I properly store my hearing aids?

The ELEHEAR Beyond hearing aids come with a charging case which doubles as a storage case. We recommend keeping the hearing aids inside this case when not in use.

If you live in a very humid climate, or if the hearing aids are often likely to get wet, we recommend storing them in a dry box overnight.

Avoid storing the hearing aids in high places to prevent damages from dropping to the ground.

Keep the hearing aids away from children and pets.

What should I do if my hearing aids are not working?

Troubleshooting steps for a hearing aid with no/low volume:

1. Return the hearing aids to the charging case. Close the lid. After a few seconds, remove and try again.

2. Return the hearing aids to the charging case. Close the lid. Leave the hearing aids in the case for 2 hours. Remove and try again.

3. Remove the ear-cap (and possibly the wax-guard, as well), to rule out any debris or defect in them.

4. Complete a factory reset. Return the hearing aids to the charging case. Leave the lid open. Press/hold the button on the side of the case for 8 seconds until the LED light on the front flashes white. Remove and try again.

Can I purchase only one hearing aid instead of a pair?

Our hearing aids are sold in a pair. However, for special request to purchase individually (ie one hearing aid), kindly contact our Customer Support team at support@elehear.com and it shall be considered on a case-by-case basis on reasonable terms.

Do you accept installment plan payments?

Trial & Warranty

What is the warranty coverage and terms?

ELEHEAR offers a 1-year limited warranty on all products. This covers quality, material and workmanship defects on the hearing aids and charging case (accessories not included).

The warranty begins on the date the new devices are delivered. If your hearing aids are found to be faulty during this time frame, there will be no charges associated with any repair, unless the device has been misused.

When does the 45 days trial period start?

The 45-day trial period, or right-to-return period, starts on the day the product is delivered.

Do you have theft and loss coverage?
arrow

While we do not offer replacement devices due to theft or loss, contact Customer Support at support@elehear.comin these instances for special consideration.

What is ELEHEAR repair process during the warranty period?

Most repairs are due to wax, dirt or debris build-up and can be avoided with proper cleaning and maintenance.

If your hearing aids are found to be faulty during the warranty period, first refer to the User Manual for Troubleshooting and Cleaning suggestions.

If troubleshooting and cleaning do not resolve your issue, contact Customer Service at support@elehear.com or call (888) 669-1099, M-F, 8am-2am CST.

If a product issue is identified from the inspection, a replacement set of hearing aids will be sent to you, at no additional repair cost. If no product issue is detected, you will be responsible for covering any repair expenses.

Note: You will be accountable for all return shipping expenses within the one-year warranty period.

What happens if my hearing aids are faulty?

If you find that your hearing aids are not working properly:

1. Refer to the User Manual's Troubleshooting and Cleaning suggestion guide.

2. Report the issue through the ELEHEAR website: HERE.

3. Report the issue through the ELEHEAR App, 'Support Center'.
