By proactively addressing FAQs, we hope to enhance your experience with our App and streamline your journey towards optimal hearing health. Now let's dive into the most frequently asked questions. How can the (Hearing assistance) App enhance my experience with hearing aids? The ELEHEAR App can easily offers unique personalized options that allow you to take control of your hearing health while seamlessly adapting to your lifestyle. You can personalize your hearing experience by adjusting volume and noise reduction level, switching mode and other settings for specific listening situations that meet your unique needs.   How do I know how to program my hearing aids? Per the results of your hearing test information, we will recommend a specific hearing loss level for you to set your hearing aids, in the ‘Adjust’ page of your App.  If things sound far too loud, and you’re lowering your volume control all the way down to ‘1’, you will want to drop-down a hearing loss level.  If you aren’t hearing well enough, and have tried increasing your volume control, you can elevate your hearing loss level.     Can I adjust individual frequencies? There are three frequency equalizers available in the mobile App.  Once you’ve selected your hearing loss level on the ‘Adjust’ page, you can click the ‘edit’ button off to the right to access them (pencil-inside-circle button).  The OceanWave sound adjuster will lower or elevate the bass frequencies.  This can help with own-voice issues, or help to make music sound more full.  The WorldSound adjuster controls the mid-frequencies, and will help give clarity and distinction to spoken voice.  The BirdChirping sound adjuster will lower or elevate the treble frequencies.  This will help with the tinniness/sharpness/feedback a user may be experiencing.   Why can’t I re-connect to the App? If you have not utilized the bluetooth connection between your phone and hearing aids for some time, or if you have physically walked away from your smart-phone, the bluetooth connection will be temporarily suspended.  This is to save your hearing aids from excessive battery drain.  To reconnect to the bluetooth, simply turn your hearing aids off, then on again.  Press and hold the volume UP button on the back of your hearing aids until the aids power off.  Then press and hold again until they are re-connected. Visit here for video tutorial.   What are the main differences between the Four ‘Modes’? The two major differences between the four environmental modes, or programs, are how much noise-reduction is active, and what the microphone directionality is set-up to receive. The General and Restaurant modes have higher noise-reduction rates, while the Outdoor and TV modes are quite low.  The Restaurant and TV modes are directional (forward focused), while the General and Outdoor modes are not.   I’m experiencing feedback/whistling. After we verify you have the proper ear-dome to manage feedback, we may have you lower the BirdChirping adjuster to lower the volume of the treble frequencies being produced by the hearing aids.   I don’t like the way I sound. After we verify you have the proper ear-dome to manage occlusion, we may have you lower the OceanWave adjuster, or overall volume, until you can adapt to the sound of your own voice.   If I send you an audiogram, can you program my hearing aids (over the counter) for me? We cannot enter individual, frequency-specific information from an audiogram. But our audiologists can review the results and make suggestions to you on how to set the hearing loss level, and the three frequency adjusters.   What is the ‘Remote Sound Capture’? This feature, when activated, can turn your cell-phone into a transmitting microphone.  It will use bluetooth to transmit the sound signal next to the phone, directly into your hearing aids, so even if you are physically further away from the phone, you won’t miss out on the sound.   What is the dB button? This is a sound-level meter, to give you an idea of the overall sound level of the environment you are in.  It will turn orange if it reaches dangerous levels, so that you can limit your noise exposure.     How do I know if there has been an update to the App? If your phone is set to automatically update the mobile-Apps, you don’t have to do anything. You can always check to see what version of the App you are currently using by clicking the User Icon (upper left), followed by the ‘About’ button.  You can then check if an upgrade is due, by clicking ‘Version upgrade’.   ELEHEAR offers one of best hearing aid products with app control (you can download at google play store app),  and we hope that this article has provided you with valuable insights into the ELEHEAR App and addressed any questions or concerns you may have had. Our team is dedicated to continuously improving our products and services, and your feedback is invaluable to us.
