No. The Beyond 2 Pro is an over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid, so you do not need to consult a doctor before purchasing it. It uses a proprietary algorithm and preset gain parameters, providing more gain in the speech frequencies right out of the box.If you're unsure whether the Beyond 2 Pro is suitable for your hearing needs, we recommend taking our free online hearing test before purchasing. After purchase, you can also receive remote support from our audiologist team through the ELEHEAR app for additional assistance with your settings.
Beyond 2 Pro is an OTC hearing aid designed for adults 18 and older with mild to moderate hearing loss. It is not designed for severe or profound hearing loss.If you are unsure about your hearing level, take our free online hearing test at elehear.com/pages/hearing-test - you will get your results immediately, and our support team can help you decide whether Beyond 2 Pro is a good fit.
Yes. Beyond 2 Pro is an FDA-registered OTC hearing aid, designed for adults 18 years and older with mild to moderate hearing loss.
Yes. Beyond 2 Pro's smaller, flatter body is designed to sit closer behind the ear, helping minimize interference with glasses. The hearing aids should fit snugly and comfortably alongside your glasses. If you feel discomfort, try adjusting the position of the hearing aid or the receiver wire, or contact our support team for fit guidance.
Beyond 2 Pro carries an IP67 rating, which means it is built to handle the moisture of everyday life - sweat during a workout, getting caught in light rain, summer humidity, or dust on a hike.
However, please treat it as everyday protection, not swim gear: do not wear the hearing aids while showering, swimming, or in situations with heavy water exposure, and avoid salt water. If they get damp, dry them with a soft cloth; a dry box is also a good habit in humid climates.
